- 2009 TELLABRATION -- A PUBLIC EVENT
This year's Tellabration will be a celebration of stories told
through music by some FANTASTIC musicians who are also storytellers!
Just look at who's performing!
Papa and Jackie Wright -- Papa
is the President of the Puppetry Guild of Greater St. Louis. He's
a professional puppeteer as well as a professional musician. Jackie,
his wife, is a professional storyteller. They perform a show together
with tremendous talent!
The Quartet from The Ambassadors of Harmony,
a professional Barber Shop singing group based in St. Louis, were
Gold Metal winners at this year's international Barber Shop competition!
Larry Brown is a professional storyteller and musician from Kansas
City, Missouri, coming all the way to St. Louis just for this
performance because he's just that good!
Kathy Schottel is a professional
storyteller, puppeteer and musician, living and working in the
St. Louis area -- and do the kids ever love her!

Tellabration is
organized and sponsored by MO-TELL to take place Friday, November
20 at 7 p.m. at Missouri Baptist University, located in West County
St. Louis, in the Recital Hall in the Pillsbury Chapel & Dale
Williams Fine Arts Center. Tickets -- $5.00. The performance will
be followed by a fund-raising auction at 8 p.m.. The proceeds
will go to MO-TELL to fund and support professional storytelling
in Missouri. Wonderful food and punch will be served during the
auction. THIS WILL BE A GREAT EVENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!
